How to request deletion

Send an email from the address registered with your BalanceBudget account to EMAIL@PLACEHOLDER.EU. Use the subject line Delete my BalanceBudget account to delete your account, or Delete all my BalanceBudget data to delete all of your data while keeping your account.

You can also request deletion of all your data directly from the app.

What happens next

We may ask you to verify that you own the account. After we verify your request, we will delete the account or data you requested. Some information may be retained where required by law or while it remains in routine backups.

Before you delete your account

Deletion is permanent. Account deletion removes access to your budgets and encrypted financial records. Data deletion removes your data while keeping your account. Please export or save any information you need before requesting deletion.
